Hi, nice to meet you!

I'm Eun-Ju (she/her), I'm a Midwife in Berlin and I will be your course instructor!

Background

Originally I'm from the countryside in Bavaria, Germany. I worked and studied in Berlin to become a midwife. I fell in love with the city and its people and stayed.

Work

I've been a midwife since 2021 - for the longest time since then, I had been working at St. Joseph hospital in Berlin, a large birth ward with a NICU,

gaining valuable experience in high-risk and intensive care settings.  Currently I am working at the beautiful birthing ward at Urban hospital in Kreuzberg, where I work with families from various backgrounds throughout pregnancy, labor, and birth.

Qualifications

I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Midwifery and am currently pursuing a Master's in Gender Studies at Humboldt University in Berlin.

Giving birth to the world we want to live in

I believe in guiding you to trust your body's wisdom,

offering evidence-based knowledge while holding deep respect for your autonomy. My aim is to support you in making informed decisions with clarity and confidence, for a birth experience that feels empowering, tender, and truly your own.

I see birth work as part of a broader movement for collective healing and liberation - working towards a world where childbirth, parenting, and care are free from violence and oppression, and built on dignity, trust and softness.
