English Birth Preparation Class
The birth preparation weekend course offers a calm and supportive space to prepare for birth and the time after. You’ll receive practical tools, evidence-based knowledge, and emotional support as you get ready for this new chapter as a family. You’ll be encouraged to explore what feels right for you as you move into parenthood. The course focuses on understanding the birth process, learning how to support the birthing partner, building trust in your body, and gaining confidence to make your own decisions. Alongside clear information, there is space for reflection, questions, and open exchange with other expecting families.
Birth Preparation Class for BIPOC
This weekend course is specifically designed for expecting parents where at least one partner is affected by racism or identifies as BIPOC. Many racialized people face discrimination and structural barriers in healthcare settings. Here, we create a dedicated safer space for your birth preparation. In a calm and trusting atmosphere, you'll receive practical tools, evidence-based knowledge, and emotional support to experience an empowered and self-determined birth within our community. I hold this course as an explicitly queer-affirming and anti-racist space.
The next BIPOC birth preparation course has not been scheduled yet. All courses include cultural awareness.
Please contact me if you’d like updates.

Accessibility
I believe that everyone deserves to prepare for birth in a space where they feel safe, respected and seen. This course is open to all, regardless of religion, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation or ability. It is held with awareness for the many different experiences people bring, including sensitivity to racism, queerness, ableism, and other forms of exclusion. The course room is wheelchair accessible, the toilets are not barrier-free though. If you have specific needs or questions regarding accessibility or personal support, feel free to get in touch.
